Calzaghe has no Chin, because it's never been tested by a Real SLUGGER. He got knocked down by at 43 year old Hopkins and a 40 year old Jones. If they were 5 years younger, they would have knocked them out. Plus Jones didn't even hit him with a good uppercut. He hit him with his wrist and Calzaghe buckled. Jones couldn't finish him because he's SHOT.

Calzaghe has a solid chin to be sure, but I do not think it should be mentioned with guys like Tua, Hopkins, Andrade, Toney and Baldomir. Guys who appear unable to be hurt or knocked down...

You apparently didn't see the end of round 6.

You exposed yourself there. You are SHOT also, lol.

DDE91 is correct. RJJ was strutting around after that and knew he had it in the bag. Then rounds went on and the true result shown through.

I think Joe Calzaghe has the greatest powers of recovery in boxing. I agree with Steve Bunce when he said Calzaghe was 'out' against Jones, it was a horrible, flukey shot with the forearm but you could see the impact go through to Calzaghe's neck. Joe has a great chin but not really as great as Margarito's or Andrade's.

Okay, I am NOT refering to the knockdown in round 1. I am refering to the uppercut Jones landed in round 6 in the closing seconds that would have knocked out 90% of the division , at least. It was a hellacious shot and Joe wasn't really phased by it. That demonstrated an A+ chin.
