Many people posting in this forum are constantly using the term "deserves." For example, Glen Johnson "deserves" the rematch against Chad Dawson. Lets get it straight, nobody "deserves" anything in the business of boxing. If, as a fighter, you can't generate revenue, you have no influence over anybody or anything. Winning fights isn't enough, you have to win the fans because it is the fans who pay the bills. All you deserve in boxing is what somebody is willing to give you. If nobody will give you anything then you deserve nothing. That is what life is about in the real world.
