    The only guy who might have been seriously impressed by Darren Sutherland's debut is his battered opponent. Let's face it, all Darren had to beat was a game punch bag. Not that you'd expect anything different on debut. Best to be said right now, though, is that the Irishman looks strong and heavy handed and did what he had to do, and is better geared to the pro code than he was that amateur stuff. That's why I'd put him in front of James DeGale as a prospect in the real world of boxing. DeGale took the gold in China, and is already talking like Vic Darchinyan, but I don't see his style taking him anywhere near where he thinks he's headed. If they hook up again in eighteen months or so, I'm with the Paddy.
