Why does it have to be in the States?

In England or the Philipines this fight would be absolutely HUGE!!!!!!! It would be a spectacle that niether fighter win or lose would ever fight. not many fighters would get to experience an atmosphere and scale of an event like could be put on for this fight.

You could have 100,000 rowdy Brits or Pinoys bringing the house down to produce an unforgettable night of boxing. or you could have it in a casino with some rich people and the few who could afford to fly over. Fair enough if it was a yank in the mix, but the only yank with any say is the promoter and the fight shouldnt be made on what the promoters wishes. Pac said he would fight in England. i'm sure Ricky would fly to the Phillipines. This is whats wrong with boxing when people focus more on the amount of money that could be made rather than the spectacle. At the end of the day no one will care what numbers a fights made. they remember the excitement generated by the fight, and there would be so much more excitement for this fight if it was made in England of the phillipines.

Hatton ain't no up and comer in the sport, he's P4P one of the best, which puts in in the position to shout the odds and make demands.

The fight is 50-50.. Purse isn't an issue here but the venue itself..How many PPV itself did Hatton bring in the US before he fought gayweather? Yeah he sold out 55k how many did he earned with that cheap price tickets? Yeah people will never remembered Hatton as a great fighter.. Why should it? This fight could be one of the biggest boxing events infront of one of the largest crowds boxing as seen, but instead Arum wants it to be in a casino because the Americans want to watch it at night instead of the afternoon. ****ing BS....
