Montiel Continues To Call For Vic Darchinyan, Doniare

Before a crowd of many in Los Mochis, Mexico, WBO super flyweight champion Fernando Montiel continued to call for fights with IBF flyweight champion Nonito Donaire, and WBC/WBA/IBF super flyweight champ Vic Darchinyan. Last we heard, Top Rank was trying to put together a Montiel-Donaire clash for March. Darchinyan faces Jorge Arce on February 7 on Showtime. [details]

Vic will beat Arce, and I'd like a fight between he and Montiel.

Montiel would beat all of them. Just seen his fight with Luis Maldonado and he look great, ko'd Maldonado quicker then Nonito or Vic.

Vic went for the money in Arce, not for the better fighter. Still i think Arce has a chance if he can keep the fight on the insdie.

Vic beat maldonado when he was undefeated and the next big thing in fly, Montiel beat Maldonado when he was coming off his second ko loss.

Still very impressive. Montiel's power is one to be respected. I can see Vic walking into one of Montiels shots.

I'd have both Darchinyan and Donaire as big favorites over Montiel. I'm not sure which would KO him quicker.

What happened with Donaire v. Montiel? Weren't they supposed to fight? Donaire is over rated he hasn't impressed me since beating Vic.

Ya' know, on second thought, I gotta' go with ya' on that. Montiel is pretty quick and a pretty good boxer as well, so it might be fairly interesting. But if the Donaire that beat Darchinyan shows up, I think Montiel is toast.

Montiel looks horrible on his last fight against Rosas. I heard Montiel look like a bum against Rosas.
