I swear I looked him dead in his eyes right before Jimmy Lennon starting announcing and I saw fear. I don't think he ever felt like he could win.
I honestly didnt see that!! I thought he looked nervous, as in anxiously so. And eager, too much so. Like everything he had been waiting for for soooooooooo long was finally here and he wanted to win it so badly! I truly didnt see fear, and the good ole "stare down" looked menacing as hell

ya seemed liek he caved under his own pressure
may have been made worse by the fact that he wasnt willing to admit that this fight meant more to him than any other
the first round he seemed to still box well
but then he tryed to fight tszyu guess he thought the layoff had left him weaker
my opinion is that shamba thought he could beat KT at his own game and learned he couldnt
altho it could have had something to do with that guy across the ring hitting him in the head with brick like hands that may have caused shamba to lose his game plan

Tracy...I was referring to when he came over to the corner I was sitting in live and he knelt down to pray and when he got up....it seemed like he looked me dead in the eyes (I was sitting with the KT people...friends, family etc) and it honestly looked like he was about to fight the school bully. Although I did feel he fought the first round ok and landed a couple nice shots....but he didn't box enough. If you didn't read my thread on me being there live.......when I gave KT five after the fight he still had his gloves on and when he hit my hand it felt like a brick. The kid has the heaviest hands at 140 bar none!
