    Cotto v. Pacquiao in 2009!

Word around is that if cotto beats margarito and manny beats hatton, those two (pac, and cotto) would be meeting each other later in 2009, any thoughts?????

    Cotto by UGLY KO!..

I doubt it's true..Cotto is to much of a threat to Manny's well-being..and this would be goin a lil overboard..Cotto can handle the speed and dishes out WAAAY too much power for Manny to take em and keep going..

If it's true!..I got Real Money down on this and would be willing to put $500 on Cotto..

    Raise em UP!!

Before Manny beat Oscar, I would say Cotto without too much trouble. But after seeing how well Manny performed at 147, I think he could keep it competitive.

But If Cotto beat Margarito, don't you guys think there would be a rubber match following to settle the score?

        Not right away..if at all!..

I don't think Margarito is meant to shine..sad to say..I mean he has raw talent but he doesn't even try to speak english to get to the american public..Kinda like Quintana..still awaiting his rematch wit Williams..and won't speak a lick of English..

I think that has alot to do wit acceptance and stardom with in the boxing world..

Cotto moves on to CALL-OUT MAYWEATHER!!

First Cotto has to get through a bigger Margarito, Pac has to get through Hatton (Hatton is not a washed up Hoya)Hatton is a very aggressive fighter and 140 is where he does his most damage.
But if they Both get through those guys the Cotto will destroy Pac. No ifs and or buts....I have alot of respect for Pac...but now way he gets past Cotto.

Yes, he has very little marketability. But I still think Arum would employ a rubber match, depending on how Cotto wins.

If it does ever happen, which I don't think will, I would love to be the one who personally bumps this thread if Pacquiao wins so this can join the many other bumped threads that underestimated Pacquiao. Im not saying he is going to win but he has a track record of serving crow. Keep on talking yall.. I think karma will have its way again.
