Shut that **** up, all you guys are your 'he fought him past his prime' **** is ridiculous.

You can only fight the fighter for who he is on fight night. No one has control over that but father time.

All of your hypothetical arguments on who could be who in their prime is all bull****.

Like I said, you fight the man as he is in front of you on fight night, thats it.

Thats the only thing thats counted in the record books.

He ducked Witter. Admittedly Witter blew it by losing to Bradley, if he'd kept winning it would have got harder and harder for Hatton to avoid fighting him. But Witter had been rated #2 in the division for ages by then, and Hatton made it clear he would never fight Witter, no matter how many fights Witter won. Not because he thought he'd lose, admittedly, but because he didn't like Witter and didn't want to give him a pay day, but it's still ducking in my book. The best should fight the best regardless of personal feelings. De La Hoya fought Vargas even though he couldn't stand the guy.

(Also, re. Witter losing to Bradley, Witter's father died a few days before the fight, so it's unfair to judge him on that performance).

I would of given Hatton this one if he were facing the old Pac prior to his second fight with JMM but Pac today is totally new and improved.

In my opinion Pac's style during the earlier part of his career wasnt all the great. Yes, he had the hand speed and power to hurt his opponents but the boxing skills werent really there.

Now we see Pac with GREAT head movement, footwork, placing his punches with crisp blows, and defense is even improving. Pac has been constantly improving fight after fight and with Roach in his corner since the beginning, these two make a dangerous team. Pac also carries his power and speed at 140 which is a HUGE advantage.

Hatton hasnt shown much difference in his style in the Paulie fight. Roger may teach a few new tricks, but can Hatton really become the slick defensive boxer that Roger implements?

With that being said, I would have to give Pacman this one HANDS DOWN.

If Hatton is still trained by Floyd Mayweather Snr and Pacquiao is trained by Roach it will be arguably the world's two best trainers up against each other - it'll be interesting to see which trainer comes up with the best game plan.

Its definitely going to be in Vegas.

I'll be there too. Vegas wasn't as crackin as I thought it would be for the Oscar-Manny fight. It was mostly old fogies out there, and most of the clubs were just ehhh...

The fight was dope though, and I love how StubHub and TicketLiquidator and other brokers got owned by buying truckloads of fight tickets trying to sell them for quadruple the face value...

Then get stuck with literally hundreds of tickets on fight day, and have to sell me $1,500 seats for $200.
