Pacquiao has beaten 3 guys on ESPNs top 50 ATG list

With a chance for 4 if he fights Mayweather, and 5 if JMM makes the cut before he retires. Two of them he beat twice. Not too shabby.

Manny is a legend and a future ATG and if JMM doesn't make the cut then it will be a joke. Manny v Floyd would be amazing

I'm not sure if I would rank DLH, Barrera or Morales that high but Pacquiao is certainly a great fighter.

I LOL'ed at Oscar being on the list, which is why I wonder who takes ESPN seriously as a boxing authority.

That list is a steaming pile of crap!

If your going to rank Oscar De La Hoya at 39 then you ought to give Mike Tyson the 38 spot at the very least.

Oscar and Tyson have an equal amount of million dollar pay per views.

Tysons record is 3-3, De La Hoya is 0-6.

just for the record the list isn't just on skill and accomplishments alone, they also take other things into factor like how popular/appealing one is for the sport. That's why oscar is on the list, because his greatness isn't simply measured as what he accomplished in the ring, its also measured as what he has done for the sport and how he appealed to the masses like no other (in our time).

Just for the record, I have no complaints Oscar being there, but I do agree with Soir with Iron Mike higher in rank (or lower in the numbers rating) against Oscar if we based it on your take. Tyson was more popular than Jordan and Gretzky in their time, and that says a lot...
