I see it as highly unlikely. Holyfield can take tremendous punishment and should not be stopped by that one dimensional Neanderthal even if he's only a shell of his former self. Still you never know, the guy is 46 after all. Neither Valujev or Holyfield are prone to get cut either so i see the fight going the distance. what are your views? Reason im asking besides the fun of discussing is that im planning to put some money on the fight going the full twelve rounds.
Valujev vs. Holyfield ending with stoppage?

actually just saw the quotes and they give you more money on Vaulev decision than Vaulev ko...picking only Valuev to win aint worth it. You could dare to try and gamble on Valuev wins in between 7-9 cause its 5.50 ...but thats real gamble. Split it maybe. Btw i like to bet but this time the only real safe is to go for Valuev simply to win and thats not even worth it.Comment

Holyfield might be stopped (by his corner) like he was against Toney but the fight is most likely going the distance.
Valuev actually said that he would try not to knock Holyfield out, so if anyone wants to make some easy money a Valuev decision win should be a rather safe bet (unless Buddy McGirt is in Holyfield's corner).
Of course you never know in boxing, I personally wouldn't bet on it because Holyfield is 46 years old and has been out for more than a year.Comment

I read a report on the main page a couple of weeks ago, that quoted Valuev as saying "he would not try to KO Holyfield out of respect and would just try to outbox him."Comment

there is no need even discussing a Valuev Ko loss..
Holyfield has always been super tough.. but let's face facts.. he is 46.. not 26 or even 36.. his reflexes are not what they once were..Valuev is not a huge puncher.. but he can put some mustard on his shots.. and if he gets leverage can hit with some serious force. (remember him almost lifting McCline of his feet with an uppercut).. SO there is small chance that valuev could really catch Holy and put him down.. Putting him out??.. will be even less likely to happen.. but there is still a small chance..
I Think the fight will most likely be Valuev keeping Holy on the end of his Jab all night.. while Holy tries to get inside and rarely does... and when he does The Giant just holds him..
Resulting in an easy and uneventful win for Valuev.Comment

I think Valuev wins a wide UD, but Holy being stopped is not out of the question. People tend to forget how **** Holy has looked against much worse fighters in the last few years. Id say UD over stoppage but only about 60-40.Comment
