I don't get the shock here. All the Klit fights are prime time in their location and showed on tape delay in prime time in the US. If it is HBO, they show it live in the afternoon too.

your missing the point, nobody is going to pay PPV money to watch a fight on at 4pm in the US and certainly not a tape delayed recording of it! US networks will pick the fight up, but could have made much more selling the fight on PPV which because of the timeing they can't do. Its a pretty good stance for the UK as they will be getting big money from Setanta and PPV in Germany and world wide rights and seems they don't really need the US TV money which has not been the case in recent times and shafting us to stay upto 3am to see a fight live in our own country!

              Just because of television.

              Disgraceful.

Well not really, there is only 2 hours difference between Ukraine and England.

Uh... This fight would never, ever, ever, ever be on HBO PPV. NEVER. It doesn't matter what time it is on. No one in the states knows those fighters. It'd be the worst selling HBO PPV since Rahman/Maskaev II. That was never a concern.

Nobody in the US know who Vitali is? Did you miss the massive amount of US fans that he had agaist Lewis 2003? Download and rewatch it from WBVA or somewhere. Given the fact that this is for a world title, with a very popular Heavyweight Champ, the fact the Haye is sparring with Lewis (who also works for HBO) i can pretty much gurantee there will be a lot of interest in this fight states side, hey you can always hope than Evander pulls through, got money that that will be a PPV freakshow over there too and it will sell ;-)
