pacquiao has some lame fans, but only because he has so many fans.

and that's only because- adding to the original statement- he is completely awesome.

he really is the best fighter out there. and even if he loses to hatton or mayweather- he's still going to have had a more than historic career.

and as far as the eastern hemisphere goes- he'll go down as the greatest boxer to ever live

His nuthugging fans: delusional. These same fans think Pac could beat anybody in history in the divisions Pac fought. Worse, they probably think he can keep moving up and beat Vitali.

I thought Floyd die-hards were bad when they said he would beat SRR, SRL, and Tommy Hearns at 147, but the Pacmans proved worse.
i mean when u think about, he kinda would beat those guys........ dont get me wrong they are great, but that was for their era... now that boxing has evolved so much, and stratagy plays a much bigger role, floyd could beat them no doubt.... Floyd is probably the smartest fighter to ever step foot in the ring...... he can outbox anyone at 147

        So he beats Duran?

        How about Pryor at 140?

        How about Whitaker?

I'm not even sure Floyd beats them.

Or how about SRL and Tommy Hearns at 147?
Does Pac or Floyd beat them?

Floyd actually named Whitaker and Pryor as two fighters that would have given him the most trouble.

At this point, I'm not positive Floyd wins at 147 against everyone. He is a different fighter now than he was before. You need to move, jab, and punch aginst the likes of Margarito. Floyd hasn't been doing that enough lately. He would have to fight Margarito similar to the way he fought Chico; not the way he fought Oscar.

Remember, Pac lost to a faded Morales and had a rough time with JMM. Duran is arguably better than both.

Boxing really hasn't evolved that much. Were not talking about fightes back in the 1920's.

I think even Ray Robinson would clean up the 147 division. Of course he was way ahead of his time...but still, he fought long ago and even modern day fighters are in awe of him.

Pac and Floyd are great fighters, no question, but some people get way ahead of themselves by naming them best ever. It is about opinion, but how strong does that opinion hold

Pacmans will say that he can beat Duran..and now that he beat Oscar, I wouldn't be surprised if they thought he could beat Pryor at 140, Whitaker...and SRR, SRL, and Tommy Hearns at 147.

Floyd was better at lightweight than Pac
