    JMM-Casamayor did under 100,000 buys... casamayor is a bigger name than david diaz. so I dont know what the **** youre talking about.

    its funny cause of people like xcaret on this forum that i thought mexicans hated pacquiao. i always dismissed what people like emanuel steward had to say about mexicans loving pacman. then at my gym today the mexicans were saying pacquiao could clean out the 147 lb division. I had to be the one to say he had no chance against mayweather unless mayweather was very rusty.

        pacquiao used to be a ****star and tricycle driver before he became big.

        valero gobbles up ****stars and tricycle drivers.

        valero = pacquiao's kryptonite

          I'd imagine Pacquiao will pull in a few more PPV's after his win over Oscar.

          Realistically he fights an exciting brutal style of fight, I think that's what your average boxing fan enjoys.

            That fight was in Vegas, not in Diaz' backyard, which happens to be Chicago, the crowd was clearly behind Pacquiao.

            That's down to Marquez not being sellable then, Marquez isn't a big draw, never has been, his style and personality hasn't been very fan friendly.

              marquez is like winky.

              great skills but not a star on their own.

              when both fight a big named opponent they help sell the fight and make it bigger though.

                You must be talking about the old Marquez. Didn't know you weren't a fan.

                Personality? What he's not a **** talker?

                People really wanted to see him fight Pac, cause Pac never did numbers like that before.

                  The old Marquez led to him not being watched, which leads to him not being a draw now, he's a great fighter, just not a fighter casual fans would like to watch, casual fans can't really appreciate what he does in the ring.

                  He's a quiet guy, I don't think he has the kind of following in Mexico that Morales, Barrera or even Margarito has, but you would probably know more about that than I do.

                  People want to see Pacquiao fight him because he gave Pacquiao 2 tough fights, of course the financial rewards that come from the fight has GBP wanting to make the fight, Pacquiao has bigger fights elsewhere though.

                    Barrera vs Marquez was almost half-empty.
