anyway, why doesnt anybody here watch that show? Apparently the show gets decent ratings... but if the hardcore fans arent watching it, who is?

I feel like the boxers themselves really aren't that charismatic and way the shows have been edited and structured.. I'm not really that built up by the time of the fight. I wouldn't be surprised if this show goes off air for a couple years after this season. Something is missing. With that said.. I'll be watching every episode.

i didn't stick around for decision but I'm pretty sure AK beat Vega. In all honesty Vega was tough to watch. He really lacked mobility and was pretty predictable.

both guys are absolutely garbage, as are most of the fighters on the show. that said, i thought that was a good fight.

havent watched an episode since tho, and i agree with the guy who said there is something missing from this show. Its just not intruiging enough. Nothing really happens in any of the episodes... ever. theres jsut a fight at the end, and the fight is ruined with this ****ty editing stuff

My advice is keep watching... I know I will be... My dog Troy Ross (who I haven't spoken to yet since he returned from Singapore I should add) always comes to fight and shows up in great shape... The Ding-a-Ling Man's fans best to watch out, because even though I really like Wilson (though I haven't met him in person) I have cheered for him on ESPN a few times already, and the man truly is a very exciting fighter to watch, the Episode following the A.k. Vs Vega fight (in which I agree the last round was one of, if not, the best single round of all The Contender fights to date and was far more entertaining than anything I've seen on The Ultimate Fighter to date either which I also watch on a regular basis); Troy Amos Ross mentions he may call Darnell's number to toe the line! Troy Ross ain't there to play games either lemme tell ya... So if that fight does indeed happen (which I can't say for sure either way but I really hope it turns out that way) then you can expect pure fireworks from Troy... You can "Mark My Words" on that!!!

Regardless of who Ross fights though, at any time during this tournament, you can expect an extremely exciting fight... No Doubt!

I really like this season so far, and I haven't missed an episode of The Contender all the way back to when Gomez faught Manfredo the 1st time... I also like the fact that they've completely eliminated the competitions before these fights, and show no signs of ressurecting that concept... I mean, why tire 'em out before they get in the ring??? Regardless it's a great show impo, and like I said, i won't be missing a single Episode... No Doubt
