  • Could I have your opinion on EBC prospects

You don't have to watch the whole fight, just watch a lil bit and get a feel for them...but I would like to know your opinions. They are still babies and have much to learn, but I think they have the talent... they just need some time and more experience.

First time I've seen Molina fight, he's a solid fighter, throws sharp punches, good counterpuncher, decent handspeed, did some good work on the inside and remained calm when he had stunned his opponent early in the fight which is a good thing for a young fighter.

He did drop his left hand sometimes though and he can get caught with shots down the middle, he backed straight back once in the fight. But these things can be worked on, he's a promising prospect.

thank you bro! We told Carlos that he can't always stand in front of his opponent, he needs to give him more angels. He said he would work on it. Thank you man for your opinion!

        What you think of Ramos?

No problem. I'll start watching the Ramos fight now.

Ramos seems to be ok. He seemed to like to throw the right hook a little to often at times and it wasn't really connecting. That and when he was throwing it, it seems he didn't bring back fast enough. His left hand and jab was really good though.

Ramos is the more physically gifted fighter of the two, he has fast hands and fast feet and throws a nice double right hook, one to the body, one to the head, I think his right hook is his best punch, he controlled distance well early on with his footwork, he throws good combinations as well, I like the way he goes to the body then goes back up to the head.

He did start to punch a little bit open handed as the fight went on though and he stopped throwing that double right hook for about 2 or 3 rounds, then picked it back up in the last round, I would have liked to see him use his jab a little bit more too because when he slowed down a little, his opponent got inside on him, Ramos held his own but it could be a factor in the future, he leaves his chin in the air when he punches sometimes too. Ramos has potential IMO.

One more thing about Molina, he rarely threw single shots, which is good, I wouldn't mind seeing him feint a bit more though.

Thanks again guys! I will definitely pass along the info. Hopefully in the future, they will make those changes and continue to improve.

Hopefully more people respond to this thread.
