Kessler: "Hopkins, Taylor, Dawson Don't Want None"

Just because B-hop managed to beat Pavlik doesnt automatically mean he will get beat by everyone decent around the weight. I kinda get the feeling everyone just crapped on Pavlik after he got beat by Hopkins. B-hop is special and the style set up that circumstance. Not everybody will be able to whip up on Kelly like that. Watch and see, he will be back as hungry as ever. It may have even been a good thing. He wasn't as big of a beast on Taylor-II. He might have needed to reset himself after winning the title.

Not crapping on Pavlik. I always said (and you can go hunting for my old posts on this) that Pavlik is one-dimensional and would most likely get a boxing lesson from Hopkins.

If saying Pavlik is flat-footed, slow and one-dimensional (the truth) means I started crapping on him AFTER he lost to Hopkins (in your opinion), then so be it. But honestly, I never said anything different before or after the fight. My opinion has remained consistent.

I remember getting pretty angry about this, actually. The vast majority here were saying Pavlik was gonna knock Bernard senseless. I posted "FOR ****'S SAKE, CAN'T YOU GUYS SEE HOW ONE-DIMENSIONAL PAVLIK IS!!?", but actually, I think I might have erased the post out of embarrassment at my own anger. LOL. It wasn't worth getting worked up about, but the lack of knowledge here at the time was astounding and kinda infuriating.

In previous posts I also said I thought Taylor won the rematch. Taylor outboxed Pavlik, but it's a pity so few people see it like that. They scored the fight on Pavilk's aggression. I had taylor ahead by a couple of points by the end of that fight, and I stick by it.

Back to the point: Pavlik is no trouble for Kessler.

Before the rematch clause was innacted Chad offered Kessler a fight at 175. Maybe if they made a deal to fight Tarver's rematch would get postponed until after the Kessler-Dawson fight.

ok kessler, where do i start? calzaghe has already beaten you......you're not a big enough name for hopkins to even consider. beating you does nothing for him when you barely have name recognition in the u.s., and that was for LOSING to calzaghe......

pavlik is a middleweight. he already moved up, got his ass beat, so he's not moving up again anytime soon. chad dawson is the LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT champion, who the hell are you for him to want to move down and fight you at supermiddle? matter of fact, i do recall chad's handlers saying that if you moved up to lt. heavyweight, then they'd fight you. i still don't see a duck.......

I would love to see Kessler vs. Hopkins. I really think he or Chad Dawson should be given that chance, and no matter who Hopkins choose of these two, a win, would be so much bigger than a Pavlik win, it would be thunder!

Instead of landing a huge fight, Kessler should just come over and try to land an interesting fight. He could fight a miranda/green etc and spark some interest from HBO/Showtime over here.

Then he will get his huge fight. He does not need Dawson yet as there are plenty of fish to fry at 168 still.
