I don't know what to say to Mikkel. I understand why he wouldn't move up to 175 to fight Dawson, that would not have been a good move.

It generally does seem as though he is kind of being avoided. Still, I don't think it totally excuses him from taking on thoroughly awful comp such as in his last fight. I am sure there are some better guys out there for him to fight. Still, I really hope he catches a break soon. Would be a shame to see such a huge talent wasted fighting guys not on his level.

I assume the offer was for a fight at LHW; Kessler said Dawson turned down one at SMW or a catchweight so strictly speaking nobody is lying, I suppose. Dawson seems to have the moral high-ground though, surely it's up to Kessler to move up rather than him move down? Dawson is no blown-up MW. And can even Mikkel's fans see any realistic chance of beating Dawson at LHW? His camp can't, hence the refusal of a fight at that weight.

I would prefer each to dominate their own divisions first anyway, not that I'd complain if they fought now.

someone just beat froch. I rather kessler or taylor to fight froch first so they're not punch-drunk when they fight him. Froch getting everyones left-overs is nothing new to him since he beat a robin reid who had nothing left in the tank
