That Corrales weight drained stuff is pure BS. Diego was a monster at that weight.

Floyd may have gotten a gift in that 1st fight against Castillo, that's a matter of opinion, but Floyd got a clear cut wide decision in the rematch.

Gatti was still fighting as good as ever to tell you the truth when mayweather dismantled him... and Judah was still a prety damn good fighter himself.

Baldomir? Eh, who knows when that guy's prime was considering he was an unknown before the Judah fight. The version that Mayweather beat might have been a prime Baldomir for all we know.

You got a point with Oscar, but Hatton was clearly in his prime and he did beat Collazo like it or not.

He fought the champ in the champs backyard with 3 hometown judges and not one gave it to Collazo.

True, but he did almost blow it. Of course the weight increase he said was one of the big problems since it caused him to tire and when he tired, Collazo started to rip him. He didn't make that mistake again, which is why he went back down in weight when he fought Floyd.

Ricky showed a big heart in that fight.

Without giving any thought to the rest of the thread's contents, it should be pointed out that Gatti's perceived "second prime" was due largely to matchmaking.

Think about it, he fights Gianluca Branco for a vacant belt, then Leonard Dorin comes out of retirement, moves up to 135 and gets creamed. Then he gets to fight an aging Jesse James Leija in the last fight of a long career and wins that fight.

If he was beating guys like Sharmba Mitchell or Vivian Harris at that point, I'd believe he was in a "second prime".
