like this doesn't apply to Hatton's career lol

i would slightly favour Hatton due to Ortiz's inexperience... but Hatton's punch resistance is gone and his defense is very poor so i wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz got him outta there

For crying out loud, Ortiz is ONLY 21, let the kid develop atleast 2 years, if not there's the chance of ending up like F. Vargas a talented fighter but just got thrown to the lion waaay to early

Little early for Ortiz to hop in with a guy who is top 10 P4P (or on the verge) since his best competition up till now has been either Emmanuel Clottey or Carlos Maussa.

Ortiz really likes the inside fight and Hatton just won't let him get off in it, Hatton will come in get his offence off, and either leap back out leaving him with a tail end shot, or will give Ortiz a nice hug after he got off. It'd be similar to the Lazcano fight.

Give Ortiz a few more fights before tossing him in with Hatton. Let him get in with someone like Edner Cherry or Randall Bailey next.

OF course it does, It applies to every boxers career, If Hatton had gone in the ring after 20ish fights with Tszyu he would have got KTFO.

If RJJ had got in the ring with Hagler at age 21 he too would have got KTFO.
