Malignaggi was arguably a bit damaged although shot is way too harsh a term
but more importantly, he just plain wasn't that great to start with... his mouth put him in the position he was in prior to the Hatton fight
plus the fact that he punches like a child meant he was the perfect opponent for Hatton at the time, considering his questionable punch resistance as of lateComment

Vargas is shot (and has been for some years) and he's what? like 32?
Age has NOTHING to do with being shot you coward
Is Hopkins shot at 43?
NO
Paulie might not be completely shot but he's been ruined by Cotto - the downward spiral is obvious (and borderline shot)
you bum.Comment

Haha.
What on Earth has sparked all of these insults?
How is Malignaggi "shot" at 28?Comment

Just correcting that bit. The other two I have no complaints with.
I like Hatton but I don't think he'll go down as a top 3 British fighter. Top 3 in terms of popularity no doubt, but skills and accomplishments? Nah.Comment

For Ricky, his legacy is to be determined. His most notable wins (Castillo, Tszyu, Malignaggi, Lazcano) were all against guys that weren't at their best. Not taking anything a way from those wins, but it's true. We'll find out where Ricky will place in legacy in the next couple years. If he beats Pacman, things will get very interesting.Comment

You obviously don't follow boxing as a whole, strictly British boxing, eh?
Malignaggi looked like a very very good fighter prior to Cotto, he still didnt have any power but was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better pre Cotto. Slick footwork, fast feet, fast hands, nice jab, nice head movement.
What happens next? Cotto. The man fights his heart out and gets beat up really badly in process (incase you weren't aware of this).
Paulie is applauded for his courage and his stock kinda goes up due to the amount of heart he showed against Cotto
and then what.........................
look at his fights post-Cotto (this means after the Cotto fight, you coward) and it becomes more and more apparent that he's past it (and borderline shot)
Cotto couldnt put him down with all that firepower and Hatton rocked him BADLY. That itself is a sign.
I could elaborate more but i've wasted enough time on you.Comment
