Malignaggi is practically a one-handed fighter who is gun-shy and afraid to throw the right hand. He can't beat Khan on his left jab and clinching alone. He needs more variety than that.

Let's not forget that Khan is pretty cute offensively, probably has more speed than Malignaggi and is definately not a one-handed fighter.

It would be a great fight.

Based on Malignaggi's last (lack of) performance I wouldn't rule Khan out entirely.

I think Khan could beat Malignaggi; he's better.

I think Khan could have what it takes too beat Mallignagie, Khan has a bad chin which is a massive disadvantage for him against any fighter, but Mallignagie lacks power, in which i don't think he has what it takes to knock Khan out. Both fighters have fast hand speed so it could be a good fight to see. I do not think too much of Khan at the moment though because throughout his career so far he has fought bums, because Frank Warren wanted to protect his cash cow... until they took a slight risk in putting him against Breidis Prescott, which proved that Khan struggles to hold his own against a descent puncher, however i gotta give him credit for his spectacular hand speed. Paulie is a slick fast fighter, but lacks power, so he hasn't really got the tools to knock many people out, he shown that when he fought Hatton. Anyway i think hat fight is a good idea and it would be a good fight to watch.

Khan would probably stop him mid rounds.

The fight isn't all that good for Khan though, beating Malignaggi would get him decent exposure and recognition but but would also send him over confident and in the firing line of the harder hitting world level fighters, something he isn't ready for.
