you're right that it's a pointless fight and I definitely won't support it and make it look like it's a legit fight, but the wording of the poll makes it sound like you'd praise Floyd more for losing to Margarito than beating Hatton, and that just makes zero sense.

Its not about wanting to see him lose. Its about him backing up his talk. You say you're the best? Ok, prove it. He could've shut alot of peoples mouths a long time ago, yet he chose to take safe money fights.

Question do you really think that Mayweather haters would give him credit losing to Margarito??

I think this sums everything up

only true losers find victory in defeat.

I honestly don't see how Margarito is a bigger threat than Hatton. Bigger, yes, but a threat? No way. He's slow as **** and would get absolutely torn up with punches all night. He'd probably make it 12 because nothing can hurt him, but I don't think he ever comes close to catching Floyd with a good shot. Hatton didn't really either and he's twice as fast and skilled as Margarito.

Its a fight that is in demand despite the fact that Marg stopped him. Unlike Floyd/Hatton.

exactly. Nobody is going to give Haye any credit at all if he loses to Vitali. He'd have to cut Vitali and take him into deep waters to get any credit and even then it's just the whole "he's a true warrior" type of credit which basically means "you got your ass kicked, but you're a tough nut to crack"
