Adamek is limited, Ding is straight up one dimesional. Flores is not impressive to me. I think Thomaz walks through him.

what other fights was he offered that were pretty good? Ok, here is the unadulterated truth about this fight. Flores has skill and power that few men his size can conceivably boast. BJ, is also a very cerebral fighter who sees openings and works well with range and timing. Its all true, BJ alongside ALexander Alekseev have the best tools of any cruiserweight in the world. The problem with BJ is his fighting heart. True his chin isn't the best (Chris Thomas put him down) but Thomas was yoked that fight and was in camp with Wladarcyzk before that, but still BJ's chin nothing like Adamek's. All of BJ's skill is currently overshadowed by the question's that he will face in the ring against Adamek. How BJ will respond to two things will determine this fight and ultimately his career. First is the most important in this immediate fight, and that is how he will respond when (not if) Adamek hurts him. Its inevitable, Tomasz hurts everybody. How BJ responds to being buzzed or even floored will dictate this fight. Second is very important to the enjoyment level of this fight, but is more important to his career success than anything else. That is how Flores deals with the fact that he WILL land his best shot on Adamek and Adamek will keep on coming and WILL deliver a big shot in return. It is there, at that moment when BJ will realize how much fight is really in his opponent and what it will take for him to be champion, we will then discover how much fight is in Flores. The physical attributes are there, its the mental ones we still have questions about, and in boxing that is everything. BJ is my boy and I have full faith in his ability to dominate Adamek throughout, at sat with him ringside for the Adamek/Cunningham fight and throughout the entire contest he knew exactly what to do in any situation. Its just can he do it while being punched in the face is the question I have a couple worries about. We'll see won't we.

I think there is a very important 3rd factor here.

Flores will have gone over a year without a fight and Adamek has been consistently active. If Flores is gonna take 3 rounds to shake the rust and get into the fight it will be over before it starts

We get to see Flores's wife on TV, which is the best part about this.

Like Cunningham in the sense that he was an athlete that came to boxing late and picked it up well because of his athleticism. He's decent, but no match for Adamek at all.

                    Yeah I do, she's a real dime.

Maybe the reason he took a long break was so that boxing fans would forget about and quit masturbating to his wife.

I hate to use the word, but Flores really is a borderline runner. He won't be able to do it against Adamek. Dude cuts the ring off very, very well.
