Povetkin would annihilate Hayemaker

Oh come on same old biased users in this thread, Povetkin's heavyweight resume is barely better than Haye's. Larry Donald and Chris Byrd were even more shot than Barrett was. The Eddie Chambers win is by far the best on either resume, but any rational person who watched that fight came away with the impression that Chambers should have won that fight if he had any heart/stamina. Everything he threw ripped Povetkin up. EVERYTHING. He just... didn't throw after the halfway point.
All these qualities of Povetkin are mythical. Again and again and again I say this, but Povetkin is not a top level fighter. Wlad would have killed him and his injury may as well be labelled as divine intervention. As for this great chin, who the hell has hit him? Chris Byrd, Larry Donald, and Eddie Chambers are three of the weakest punchers with significant career moments in boxing history. Should we be impressed that he hasn't been hurt by the early unthreatening bums or the featherfisted burn outs, or Eddie Chambers who despite having no power may very well have hurt him had he any balls?
Povetkin is as hittable as Chris Arreola. He hasn't shown elite power. He hasn't shown a great chin; it hasn't been tested at all. He has shown a good work rate when nothing is coming back. That is all he has shown. To call Haye untested and cite Povetkin as your answer... It just screams something fishy. Both of them are question marks at best, but at least we know what Haye can and cannot do.Comment
