If he was fighting Cotto, Oscar wouldn't have focused on getting so low in weight, and would have re-hydrated more. Against Pac he seemed obsessed with making it seem like a fair fight weight/size wise, so tried to get as low as possible, which left him drained. If he was fighting a true Welter like Cotto he wouldn't have done so, and would have probably made him go up to 154.
But, if that same Oscar was in the ring with Cotto....he would have ended up beaten badly, and TKOd more brutally...
