Well listen, this is my EXACT problem with Mayweather. The fact that he has gone on video to say that, because he is undefeated (in only 39 fights), he is superior to Robinson and Ali "because they have losses and I'm undefeated."

I have commented on this many times, and in my opinion it's pretty disgraceful. We know about Robinson, or at least we SHOULD all know, that he went from lightweight to light heavyweight and had over 200 pro fights. To claim you are better than possibly the greatest fighter in boxing history is a huge insult to the legends who cemented their place in history long ago and are seen by most as some of the greatest fighters who ever lived.

I have never heard Enzo or Joe Calzaghe claiming Joe was the best who ever lived, nor do I think I ever will.

As much as I'd love to see that fight, I disagree. If Joe Calzaghe fought Chad Dawson and maybe won a split decision, it would create argumunts on the board for the next 3 years. You'd insist that he still needs to prove himself, give Dawson a rematch, and people would give him hell.

If Calzaghe did a Lacy job on Dawson, he'd still have to prove himself against the next young up and coming fighter. Dawson would instantly become a bum who was never really that good. A hype job.

Whatever Joe Calzaghe does, he can't ever be anything but a loser in some people's eyes.

Ummm, no. I tell you what it is: Some of the guys here are very decent, intelligent people (you might realize this if you took your blinkers off for a minute and tried getting to know them) and they feel that there is absolutely no point in arguing about the same topics every single day, for weeks, months, and then years. My problem is people rarely argue with facts. They are impossible to have a decent discussion with, no matter what I say or do.

I occasionally make the points I'd like to get across, discuss them rationally, and if people start resorting to personal, immature insults, they are not worth my time. It's that simple. Would you sit in a room with a bunch of people who hate you? No. So why do it on the Internet? It's a waste of ****ing time. Period.

... Only to take a fight with Morade Hakker for 1.25 million (less than half of what Frank Warren offered him to fight Calzaghe). Hopkins priced himself out by asking Warren for 6 million.
