The way Haye can beat Vitali

That style of fighting is extremely tiring and Haye doesn't have the gas tank for that. I agree, though, except for the part about koing Vitali, that that's his best chance to win.Haye can beat Vitali. His best course of action would to show Vitali loads of movement running if you want to call it that then throw a burst of 3-4 punches then get out off there and do a lot more movement then throw a burst of punches then get out of there basically get Vitali moving around the ring making him miss and throw quick bursts of punches till he gets tired and then knock him out.Comment

Yeah but at his age he wont be able to move round the ring all night long, I don’t know if Haye is good enough to do it but that’s the plan I would have. I agree on the point about stamina he would need to work on it if he is to last 12 rounds of constant movement.Comment

That's a pretty big assumption to make, Klitschko not being about to cut off the ring for 12 rounds, he moved pretty well against Peter although Peter didn't put up much of a fight.Yeah but at his age he wont be able to move round the ring all night long, I don’t know if Haye is good enough to do it but that’s the plan I would have. If Haye is quick enough and can get out of the way he may well be able to tire Vitali out and landing quick sharp punches to the body would drain him, but yeah I am not saying it will work but thats the tactic I would think would work best. It would be very very hard to keep it up for 12 rounds.Comment

I really don't think Haye should use constant movement, his stamina is a question mark as well, taking steps to the side after he finishes punching could be better and also I think he should get on the inside on Vitali a little bit as well to make his shorter arms and shorter punches count, then duck under Vitali's shots and step to the side again. He'd need to mix it up.If Haye is quick enough and can get out of the way he may well be able to tire Vitali out and landing quick sharp punches to the body would drain him, but yeah I am not saying it will work but thats the tactic I would think would work best. I don’t know what Haye's stamina will be like at heavyweight but I agree that constant movement is tiring I remember Spinks against Holmes and in the corner after about 3-4 rounds Spinks looked like he was going to die, the only reason I thought constant movement was better is because it will mean Haye is less likely to get hit on the top of the head which is his real weak spot. It will be intresting to see what Haye's tactics are.I really don't think Haye should use constant movement, his stamina is a question mark as well, taking steps to the side after he finishes punching could be better and also I think he should get on the inside on Vitali a little bit as well to make his shorter arms and shorter punches count, then duck under Vitali's shots and step to the side again. Yeah, I haven't seen many heavyweights who can maintain constant movement for 12 rounds, Tyson-esque head movement could be better for stamina but that does run the risk of getting hit on the top of the head if Haye doesn't move in time, Haye will need to fight a near perfect fight to win.I don’t know what Haye's stamina will be like at heavyweight but I agree that constant movement is tiring I remember Spinks against Holmes and in the corner after about 3-4 rounds Spinks looked like he was going to die, the only reason I thought constant movement was better is because it will mean Haye is less likely to get hit on the top of the head which is his real weak spot.
