Just for the hell of it, I say Holyfield wins.

I got bets on it too! Just for a laugh. Why not.

I feel holyfield has a chance. He can only really win on a decision but has the skills to do so. I know he is old but this is his last chance at the big stage. He has a big heart and has come back before. I dont think Valuev is that good is body is garbage he only has his height. 50/50 but something is telling me we might av a new oldest heavyweight champ. Real Deal for life!!

Don't under-rate Valuev. For a man of his size he is a half-decent boxer (as speed and nifty footwork is something he'll never have), and has an excellent jab. Guys that size (not that there are many of them) never have magazine-cover physiques.

I just don't see how Holyfield can win. He won't KO Valuev, and I just see Valuev jabbing him to a slow death. Either a mid/late Valuev TKO or wide Valuev UD. Happy to be proven wrong, though!

I actually agree with larryx here, Valuev is a very one dimensionel fighter, plus he is very very slow. Evander is very experienced, I don't think things are as crystal clear as it seems to be the case in here.

His corner may stop the fight if he's hurt. Don't forget, he's an older man.

Holyfield has relied heavily on illegal headbutts during the course of his career - for example, in the Tyson, Maddalone, Rahman fights. Remember the big lump on Hasim's forehead?

But against the taller Lennox Lewis he was unable to land an effective headbutt. Valuev's even greater height should make it impossible for Evender to "lead with the head".
