Mosely vs. Margarito

Margarito can be beat...in fact he did by Paul Williams. But Williams is definately more physically dominating than Mosely.

IMO, i think Sugar Shane is too old to pull off the same type of fight 10 years ago.

How would Mosely fight Margarito? Obviously Margarito is going to come str8 ahead and try to get him out of there. But i think Margarito might hage better stamina than Mosely.

I'm going to make legitamate attempt to go to that fight. On the 24th.

Mosley is slow now (I think he edges out Marg in the handspeed dept)

Mosley doesnt have enough pop to do much to Marg

Mosley's stamina is inferior to Marg

Mosley is pretty much inferior in every aspect at this time.

SSM has the heart and skill, but not the endurance or power. I'm thinkin he might get stopped for the 1st time.

i think if shane could turn this guy, his hands are still faster then margarito, and if he has a good game planhe can pull it off.

Many people think after the mayorga fight he should retire, i saw it as him sticking tothe game plan.
it took margarito 11 rounds with hundreds of flush punches to take cotto out, and in the end it wasnt even the power that did it, it was his pressure.
If mosley could just circle margartio he can pull it off. you also have to remember that cotto didnt circle margarito he circled the ring, using more legs

Only way I can see Shane winning is if he resurrects the Mosley which beat Collazo and Vargas the 2nd time and put together quick handed combinations and move laterally around the ring. That wasn't too long ago, but I'm not sure he still has that kind of speed and agility anymore.

If he can do that then maybe he can move around the ring and keep the slow moving Margarito away from him enough to win a close fight on the scorecards. Mosley has proven to be a sturdier fighter than Cotto win a much better chin so as long as he can summon the energy to box for a full twelve rounds he could possibly pull off the upset. it wouldn't be completely out of the question.

I wouldn't bet on it though. I think Msoley makes it the distance but he'll still be taking a beating by the end, and in my eyes he'll drop a fairly wide UD to Antonio.

Cotto wouldnt of been stopped if Marg hit like a *****

no but was it a one punch knockout, was it diffrent from any other punch mosley or cotto have ever been hit with? no...it was a bunch of solid punches

Just can't see Mosley beating Margo. Pressure and fighting on the inside are the keys to beating Mosley...and guess what...Margarito will apply both. I'd give Mosley a chance if he still had his youth and speed...without those elements, Mosley is a HUGH underdog in my eyes.

Plain and simple...Margarito is a beast and is virtually unstoppable!
