It depends on the person/fighter. Most fighters being "angry" doesn't work for them. Ali used to say it would make them fight harder and they would be taken out of their game-plan and tire. However, certain individuals thrive off of it and understand "controlled-anger-aggression." They become motivated to train hard, focused, and locked in like a MiG-29. Vitali seems to be one of them. Kostya Tszyu was another. Actually, when Tszyu wasn't fired up that is when he could be taken. Tyson was great at it too, however; he needed a calm voice to keep him controlled-Rooney.

All neutral fans better hope Haye beats Vitali to set up the big one with Wlad.

I think it's funny that Wlad is letting his bigger, better brother take care of the new upstart in the division. Maybe he'll fight another Thompson/Rahman clone who will just stand there taking punches. How exciting.
