Lewis may have had better all round boxing skills than Haye does, but he certainly didn't hit harder - Lewis's knock-out record was nothing special (32 KOs out of 42 wins). Haye has 21 KOs out of 22 wins, and Haye KOd Barrett quicker than Klitschko did. Also, IMO Haye's defence is generally underestimated.
He has good head movement and moves his feet very well. Having said that, no-one has ever put Vitali down and it would be amazing if Haye managed it.

As you can see from the photo below, Haye was not laughing - Vitali's anger seems to have made him blind! He'd better not have that sort of blind anger in the ring - controlled anger can work for a fighter, but seeing red in the ring would work in Haye's favour.

That aint ****. Did you see after Corrie Sanders beat Wlad, Vitali walked to him in the ring and told Corrie he was gona strip that belt from him if they fight, then almost went irate right there after Sanders pat him on the cheek.

It's known far and wide that you don't piss Vitali off. This is the last thing Haye should have done in hopes of surviving a fight with Vitali.

I would bet my life savings on a KO over Haye now.

R.I.P. Haye, whenever the fight happens.

You have got to be joking.

Lewis was 6'5, 240 lbs and KO'd top heavyweights, not (mostly unknown) cruiserweights like Haye.

          KO percentage means absolutely nothing.

Even Cliff Couser was able to stop Monte Barrett and he did it in two rounds, I guess this means he is a better puncher than both Haye and Wladimir.

Couldn't agree more.Nowadays the heavyweight division is extremely boring, especially when you have the Klitschko brothers world champions.

Oh wow...what weight did Haye get his KO's? Yeah, I assure you a guy with 32 KO's at heavy hits harder then a guy with 200 at a lighter weight. Jesus Christ...

                  Are you ****ing retarted??
Natural cruiserweight David Haye did not hit harder than Lennox??
This must be a joke, or the boxing knowledge on this forum is severly withering.

I guess that makes Pacquiao a natural Light Flyweight, Mohammed Ali a natural Light Heavyweight, Holyfield a natural Cruiserwieght, and Roy Jones a natural Middleweight.

Lennox didn't fight any top heavyweights until his 22nd fight. Haye knocked out the then undisputed no. 1 Cruiserweight, and followed that by knocking out the no. 3, so "mostly unknown" may be technically accurate but is misleading. Also, plenty (though admittedly not all) fighters do as well when they move up in weight as they did previously - Holyfield had close fights against the top cruiserweights and didn't knock them out, but he still became lineal heavyweight champion; Pacquiao had more power as a Super Featherweight than at the lighter weights he fought at previously, and so on.

Barrett is inconsistent - he fought much better against both Haye and Klitschko than he fought against Couser. Apart from the Couser fight, Barrett had a reputation for being quite durable - and also for being a consistent destroyer of prospects.
