indeed. the thing that ppl need to realize is that Haye is 1,000,000x more mobile than Sam Peter, who basically just stood infront of vitali, eating leather. Vitali looked great but who knows how he can deal with movement and speed!

was Buster Douglas near the level of the names you mentioned above?

The Height wont be as big a problem for Haye as some think he has always done well against tall fighters, the problem will be getting his punches off and then getting out the way before Vitali can hit him, I think he will do it for a few rounds but it will be difficult to keep it up the whole fight without getting hit, If he can take the punches he can win if not he will be KO'd.

        Klitschko's height but mainly weight.

        Barrett was stronger than Haye.

The Klitschko's are smart, anybody who thinks Vitali is going to come out aggressive against Haye is off the mark imo.

He won't, he'll jab exclusively and tie up Haye when he gets anywhere near him and break him down physically.

He'll start throwing combinations when the risk of getting nailed has greatly reduced. Maybe Haye can't take Vitali out with 1 shot, but maybe he can, punch resistance does decrease with age. Vitali won't take that risk.

when has Vitali ever been out of shape?

              Vitali's reach/height advantage?
              Vitali's jab?

              etc.

Personally i think it will be the height/reach advantage of Vitali. I don't think Haye will be able to get near enough to Vitali to keep landing his bombs and hurt Vitali. And since it's unlikely that Haye hurts Vitali with 1 punch i think that's what will win the fight for Vitali.

              But still, go Haye!
depends on whether or not vitaly can handle haye's speed.

VK's chin and power. Haye won't KO him, and he'll be in trouble against a guy wit punchin power to match him.

Haye is banking on his speed to win this one.

Exactly I wasn't all that familiar with Haye so I went back and whatched him. He's got decent power and pretty decent speed but not overwhelming by any means. You put that against VK's size, defense, and power. I look for a mid to late round tko. The guys he beat in the hw div who are they. If Vitali or WLad would have beat them every body would be saying so what they beat a nobody. But now all of the sudden Haye beats them and he's a number one contender. BS in my opinion he dosen't deserve a shot right now. Let him work his way up the ranks and see what happens. But oh well. I'll watch it.
