Which was more of the physically demanding fight for Margarito

I actually think the fight he won against Cotto was more physically demanding because both fighters took alot of punishment. You could tell by just looking at there faces at the end of the fight. Both were beaten pretty bad with Margarito coming out on top. Not sure if it was the style match up and that is the reason why both took a beating with Margarito coming out on top

I wonder if Paul Williams fought the best version of Margarito... And I wonder if Margarito has fought the best version of Paul Williams.

The fight against Cotto, I don't remember too many people saying he wouldn't be the same after the Williams fight, a lot of people are speculating on whether he will be the same after the Cotto fight.

Cotto let me down in that fight, I felt like he could have thrown more body shots to try and tire Margarito out because no one likes getting hit to the body. But Cotto made excuses after the fight saying he was afraid of getting countered so that is why he rarely threw bodyshots. No, it was Margarito who used his noggin and attacked Cottos body hard.

Margarito isn't the fastest puncher but has a pretty good workrate, and the only way to slow that workrate is to hurt him to the body hard.

As he said, it's easy to say he should have done this, he should have done that when you're watching outside of the ring, it's a whole different story in the ring but I agree, he should have gone to the body more although his concerns of being countered is valid because when you punch to the body, it opens you up to counter shots, especially uppercuts which is one of Margarito's best punches.

Movement neutralizes Margarito's workrate as well which was what Williams did to Margarito, Cotto was doing well at that until he slowed down, Margarito's workrate upped noticeably when Cotto started slowing down in the second half of the fight, it also helps that Margarito takes about 5 rounds to get warmed up.
