David Haye vs Vitali Klitschko Poll

No hate posts on either side please what are your predictions for this fight. Haye will fight Vitali in June possibly for the WBC title or if the WBC force a fight with Gomez Vitali will vacate to fight Haye. Now I realise most people will vote for Vitali and I agree he will be favourite but Vitali hasn’t been tested since his layoff and hasn’t faced anyone with Hayes speed or power for some time, the biggest question mark over the fight is will Haye be able to avoid Vitali's punches and be able to take the ones that land, If he can I think he has a good chance. I’m picking Haye by UD but I am not ****** and I realise Vitali will likely win.
And on a side note I seriously hope Vitali doesn’t get injured in training again.

I argee with your point about speed but i don't think haye can
take his punches for 12 rounds, so klitschko by KO.

Unlike his brother Wladimir, Vitali seems to have a much stronger chin, he also seems to be more aggressive and less cautious. As far as speed, I'll give it to Haye, as far as power, Vitali is definitely more powerful. I'm pretty sure Haye will be able to land some good shots here and there, but I think Vitali can take them. Haye, on the other hand, won't be able to take Vitali's shots in my opinion. With more power, more experience, and a strong chin, Vitali is a clear favorite. I am predicting a KO by Vitali.

Vitali by late KO. Against Wlad he would have had a good chance, but Vitali is just the wrong matchup for Haye. He is way too tough. He can withstand Haye's biggest shots and keep on coming.

The same cannot be said for David.

Lets not forget size. By far the biggest man Haye will have ever come across. Biggest puncher too. Haye, a guy who never likes to keep his lead hand up, is just asking to be jabbed to death by the taller vitali.

I can't see haye posing any threat if he fights his typical fight. He would have to show up a different fighter otherwise he loses decisively IMO.

Haye isn't a small man by any means, but he squats in his stance losing 4 or more inches of his height, handing vitali even more of a height advantage. Hes never had to punch "up" to reach his target like he will with vitali, so unless his plan is to work the body (i've never see anyone implement a body attack against either of the klits) then he doesnt land anything clean.

He plays games with his lead hand. He lets it hang low the majority of the fight. Both Wlad and Vitali get jabs in even when the lead hand is held high and tight, haye makes access all the more easiar.

Yeah I agree, I am backing Haye partly because I am a fan and I also think Vitali was effected a bit more by the layoff than some people think, Peter was not really able to test Vitali where as Haye will give it a go, should be an interesting fight. Shame its 6 months away though.

Size is an advantage for Vitali but Haye has always done well against tall fighters he has always said he does better against tall men, he KO'd European cruiserweight champ Gurov who is 6ft 6in in just 1 minuet, and Gurov is a solid fighter.

The most annoying thing about it will be 6 months of Wlad Owns saying china chin hype job Haye will be exposed by Vitali.
