I'd take Vitali's reflexes and defense over Hoyas anydays. Did you not see the sam peter fight where sam peter couldn't land any of his punches? Yet, sam peter was able to hit the younger brother wlad.

Lets just hope Vitali doesnt get old over night afterall he is 37, and if the fight happens in June he will be closing in on 38.

I'd be surprised if the WBC stripped him since this is a fight that brings mass attention to their belt. More ******ed **** from them, but **** it. Just make the fight. VK will take Haye out.

              Which Network?

What I'm wondering now is which network will pick this fight up and if it will be free or PPV. HBO has largely ignored and dismissed Haye until this past weekend so I'm leaning towards a Showtime airing for us over in the States. I hope this fight is not PPV. Should Haye beat Vitali spectacularly and fight Wladimir then I could understand a PPV.

F.uck the WBC, I hope they know better than that. Like a true champ, Vitali wants to do what fans want - to produce an exciting fight, even if it's a predictable one.

WBC will look like fools if they're left with Gomez as their champion, while letting Vitali and Wlad get all of the publicity.

What would be the point of this then? Haye wants a world title fighting Vit in a non-title is a bum deal. he has a bout a 5-10% chance of winning, at least with the WBC title on the line that would be extra motivation.

This Haye-Vitali fight will have a lot more fan interest and make much more money than Gomez-Vitali.

The WBC should do what they are doing for Vernon Forrest - have Gomez fight for an interim title, like Martinez did. If not, Vitali should vacate.
