Boxing needs excitement!

A classic is going way too far with that one. Casamayor has been in great fights and stinkers just like anybody else. Ever seen Casamayor-Katsidis or Casamayor-Corrales I? You can't call a guy boring unless he's boring more than 50% of the time. I think Wlad and Spinks are about the only fighters in the world I would say are boring fighters because I've never seen either of them in an exciting fight. The only exciting fights they take part in are the ones where they're rolling all over the canvas.

Tell me, Were those fights exciting because of Casamayor or because of Katsidis and Corrales' styles?

Marquez-Gainer was the worst fight I've ever seen in my life. I suggest you check it out if it's slipped your memory. Not kidding. The worst fight of all time.

Like I said before, Marquez changed his style after his first fight with Pacquiao. And in Marquez vs. Gainer, Gainer isn't exactly a thrill-a-minute boxer either.

Hatton, Corrales, Castillo, dela Hoya and even Gatti are exciting fighters, they lost to Mayweather but that doesn't mean Mayweather is exciting. Pit Mayweather with another boring fighter and you have yourself a guaranteed Baldomir vs. Mayweather type of fight.

in order to defeat bigger and stronger opponents he utilises a more defensive style to win...unforturnately thats the floyd thats has been most exposed to the public etc but if it helps him win why would you hold it against him....if you expect a fighter to go toe to toe with a man naturally a weight class or two bigger like DLH, baldomir and judah etc were to floyd you are an idiot

Pacman and Steve Forbes went toe to toe with dela Hoya, and they fought dela Hoya only a year after Mayweather fought dela Hoya. Smaller guys like Chavez and Whitaker went toe to toe with bigger guys, I don't see them bitching about it. Mayweather, Hatton and Judah are practically of the same size, Hatton is even giving some 6 inches in reach, it's not as if Mayweather was jumping from superfeather to welter in a year.
