I will agree with you that Haye does not have enough of a HW pedigree for people to think he can beat either brother.

His fights have not been televised in the US or in England. But he is the legit guy of all the European fighters other than the Klits. When he's on his game he has the complete package: defense, chin, counterpunching, jab, bodypunching, etc. I think it's been clear for years now that he's been the best non-Klitschko at HW.

As far as Haye is concerned, he really would be better off taking four or five tough fights. But it's his career, I'll gladly watch him fight Vitali. But if Vitali is in the shape he was in against Peter, and avoids injuries, Haye's chances are very slim. Vit is not technically perfect like Wlad, but he's a natural fighter with good reflexes. He's also one of the best finishers in boxing, so if Haye ever gets hurt he won't be let off the hook.

haye brings interest to the division, but i dont like him. hes a loud mouth punk, but hes an antagonist, and we dont have any of those in the division. so it gets people fired up.

If Gomez, Povetkin, Dimitrenko, Haye, Chagaev, and Chambers would all fight EACH OTHER instead of recycled journeymen like Barrett and Krasniqi and former contenders or champs like Toney, Holyfield, McCline, etc., then the division would be like other divisions in boxing

I don't mean to say they're all terrific fighters, but they have their strengths. How good is the tenth best fighter at middleweight? Is he better than Juan Carlos Gomez? The difference is that two middleweights in the top ten will have to fight. If you get ranked number ten at HW you reduce your level of competition and then wait for a payday.
