Naw man WBC sayin since he was champ in recess then he has to fight mand. so if he fights Haye before Gomez he'll probably be stripped. It's up to WBC to get those purse bids started and everythin ASAP so Gomez an Vitali can get it on.

I can not wait for this fight to happen. Though I think Vitali's going to beat Haye, we might be in for a suprise as most people underestimate Haye. I'm one of Haye's biggest supporters but I think he may have just bitten off more than he could chew.

Why however summer? Why not March or April? It's really going to blow for both men to remain inactive for 6 months. Tune up fights would help build hype too and give Haye some more time with bigger guys. Both guys need to stay active if they aren't going to fight sooner.

Go Hayemaker!!!! Let's make this 2009's biggest upset!

This is much better and much bigger, in terms of money and excitement generated than Gomez vs. Klitschko! Most people have never heard of Gomez, but even the most casual boxing fans are aware of who David Haye is...

This will be the biggest heavyweight fight in years.

Vitali vs. Gomez won't generate a third as much money as Vitali vs. Haye.

Vitali will vacate the WBC title, Gomez and his crooked promoter will find another opponent and fight for the title.

Theres plenty of time for Vitali to fight his mando, but what im hearing is Gomez aint too keen to make the fight right now and thats why Haye and Vitali have made plans to fight.

Why doesn't Vitali fight Gomez/Whoever else in March while Haye fights another HW and then fight this fight in August. For one I think it's too early for Haye and I think he kind of knows it too because he knows the more fights he has before the Klits then the more chance there is that he'll get some full on tapping on that chin.

He seems to be going on the flukey rout to the title just trying to get a shot asap and then hoping he sparks one of them out with one punch. Don't get me wrong i'm a big fan of Haye but I think going this rout might catch up with him, I would have liked to have seen him have one more HW fight, then Wlad and then Vitali. Would have helped hype the fight even more as well.

It's Klitschko who doesn't want to fight Gomez. I haven't heard if Gomez wants more time to prepare or not though, but I don't see why he would if it's well into next year.

Yeah but Vitali himself knows that Gomez is the tougher opponent. It will be very hypocritical of him if he doesn't give Gomez his shot after the nonsense he's spewed about Lewis these past few years.
