Manny Pacquiao would destroy Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Why did so many boxing writers think that Oscar De La Hoya had a chance to survive 12 rounds with Manny Pacquiao? De La Hoya has been washed up for a long time. The only reason people thought Oscar had anything left was because Floyd Mayweather Jr. ran from him for 12 rounds. I was one of many boxing fans who found it totally disgusting to see a man who was supposedly the pound for pound best boxer in the world, run from a guy many call the chicken. De La Hoya was a safe bet for Mayweather. Manny Pacquiao is anything but.
It’s doubtful that Mayweather will fight Pacquiao because his managers have steered him away from bouts that would actually challenge him as a fighter. Mayweather wouldn’t be able to run from Pacquiao for 12 rounds and would actually have to fight him. Floyd wouldn’t be pretty after a fight with Manny.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. won’t fight Manny Pacquaio in the near future, it isn’t a safe enough bet for him. If he does, I’m betting on him getting knocked out.
