career wise, you might want to give the nod to oscam...longevity and top names on his resume, along with HOW he's grown his wealth..


however, if you want to talk about legacy, people can scrutinize how mike ended his career but truth is, the path of destruction he laid on the HW division is unmatched.....Mike took the sport to another level worldwide...boxing was front page news when Mike was king

mike was far more exciting than oscar anyways. alot of oscars wins were controversial. all of mikes wins, for the most part, were brutal knockouts. i dont know how oscar became the sports biggest star, he wasnt even that good. people will remember tyson for his prime days where he was a monster in the ring. people will remember oscar for losing every big fight hes been in, and never quite reaching the elite level. tyson was beyond the elite level when he was in his prime. oscar just fell short, but oscar will probably retire after this pacquiao loss, rather than fight 10 more times and embarrass himself each time, like tyson did.

over all, i try to remember the good days of tyson, and he meant alot more to me personally, as a boxing fan, than oscar.

Don't think with your hearts here guys, think with your minds and be objective about the subject. Tyson never beat a top fighter in his day while Oscar beat many great fighters in his prime and had multiple titles in multiple divisions. Tyson's era was small and short lived so Oscar's greatness surpasses Tyson's by a mile IMO.
