i agree with u.... i just dont like his style.... just wierd... joe was just figtin bums in is backyard all the time....
i got a friend that ****in loves this guy.... dunno why.... propz to joe being undeafeated but ****... i aint the only 1 that think he is wack... its a bit harsh to say to a champion.. but **** he's style is wayyyy boring... never liked his stlye.........

I dont like Calzaghe because.........besides the fact he has a questionable resume that was cemented with two wins against two 40 year olds he has a horrible style.

I like fighters that have a bit of razzle dazzle about them and a bit of NATURAL flair. Calzaghe does not have an ounce of this in his whole body......... and when he has tried to show flair,showmanship he has looked **** doing it........ he makes it like its something he should not be doing because he just aint that good.

Does anyone think he looks good when he shows off i think he looks like an idiot i really do.......... he just does not have the imagination and the style to look good when showboating.

i mean Abadger was a huge Calzaghe fan himself and even he said Calzaghe looks **** when he tries to show off....... words to that effect anyway.

what Calzaghe did to Jones made it even worse, because he was proving how shot Jones was. Calzaghe looked like a complete jack ass trying to show how superior he was when in reality you know who was the superior fight in their prime. For me and other Calzaghe critics i think it just exasperated the fact he was fighting a shot fighter whos days as a top fighter ended 4 years ago.

I agree. He has no defense and yet they are trying to sneak him up the ranks in games, fighter of the decade... That makes me mad, when you have grown up people ranking this guy over people like Mosley who at 37 beats up a linear WW champion many thought could not be done, against all odds. Calzaghe dominated one WEAK division for 10 years (and even so he ducked Ottke, another joke) and as two fights at LHW vs 40 year olds who dropped him in their first rounds, and he's considered a fighter of the decade? Are we seriously trying to encourage fighters to fight meaningless fights for a decade? This will most definitely kill boxing.

What boxing skills? He has decent footwork and stamina, but listen if 40 year old guys can drop your ass and you are more often than not hitting the air what boxing skills are you talking about? Seriously if he wasn't undefeated he wouldn't even be taken serious by his own fans (which he would have none) but at least he would be fighting better opponents.
