I dont like Calzaghe because.........besides the fact he has a questionable resume that was cemented with two wins against two 40 year olds he has a horrible style.
I like fighters that have a bit of razzle dazzle about them and a bit of NATURAL flair. Calzaghe does not have an ounce of this in his whole body......... and when he has tried to show flair,showmanship he has looked **** doing it........ he makes it like its something he should not be doing because he just aint that good.
Does anyone think he looks good when he shows off i think he looks like an idiot i really do.......... he just does not have the imagination and the style to look good when showboating.
i mean Abadger was a huge Calzaghe fan himself and even he said Calzaghe looks **** when he tries to show off....... words to that effect anyway.
what Calzaghe did to Jones made it even worse, because he was proving how shot Jones was. Calzaghe looked like a complete jack ass trying to show how superior he was when in reality you know who was the superior fight in their prime. For me and other Calzaghe critics i think it just exasperated the fact he was fighting a shot fighter whos days as a top fighter ended 4 years ago.
Joe you are a workman like fighter whos style is conducive to beating up old men because they cannot handle the pace of which you fight because of their age etc. Please stop thinking you are Ray Leonard,Muhammad Ali
