There's undoubtedly bitterness about Joe making Hopkins his ***** in the ring, and show boating to Roy Jones.

The thing is, Hopkins has done worse in the ring over the years, and said far worse outside it.

Roy Jones has show boated way more then Joe did.

There was few complaints then, from the people whom now hate Calzaghe and moan about the show boating and stuff. It's a little weak making rules for when some things are ok or not, to suite.

There's a clear double standard there, I'm afraid.

I thought it was hillarious. Its funny that people actually take it seriously.

I remember people getting furiously upset when Naz used to do it and when he used to talk in an American accent to Merchant.

Its tongue in cheek piss taking. And some people are still hurt that Jones got a taste of his own medecine. It cracks me up.

I tell you what is even funnier.

American fans,media basically play a huge role in where you are placed in history as a great fighter. Joe's insistence on fighting Jones,Hopkins at 40 years old will be seen through like a veil .........and he will never been remembered as a great fighter. One that is reveared like Jones,Hopkins anyway.

It might mean a lot to the delusional Calzaghe fans and the general British public who dont follow Boxing closely, but deep down the Calzaghe fans will know they are deluding themselves and it will always bother them and Joe that he never gets his props. No matter how much you like to pretent it wont or doesn't bother you.

I hate fans like you, because if Calzaghe were American and Jones were British it would be the complete reverse....... that is what kind of fan you are nationality means more to you than the actual entertainment level provided.
