    The 140 Pound Division

I think the 140 pound division is turning into a very solid weightclass.

    Champs+Pacman
    Hatton
    Pacman
    Bradley
    Holt
    Kotelnik

    Former Champs or Title Challengers
    Urango
    Ngoudjo (sp.)
    Malinaggi
    Randal Bailey
    D. Hopkins
    Witter
Torres (although could be moving up)
    Vivian Harris
    M'Baye

    Up and Commers
    Devon Alexander
    Mike Alvarado
    Victor Ortiz
    Lamont Peterson

There are a lot of quality fights that can be made in this division in the next year.

Zab Judah?????????????? I think Zab can dominate this division.. His losses were to guys much bigger and much much stronger than he was at 147..I can see him giving Holt, Hatton, and Bradly a good run for their money

Zab is kind of a wild card. I think he should try and get down but he has not tried yet. He could make some waves, because he does have name recognition that most of these guys do not have, he could quickly challenge for some kind of title.

^^ yea i feel u...Even if Zab was to dominate 140 it wouldn't mean much...We all know the big picture is 147+ thats where the biggest fights can be made...especially with these up and coming welters

Hatton and Pacamn is the fight I want to see. All action, I just hope Mayweather doesn't steal Pacman away. Hatton is still the king at 140 lets not forget that.

              So true.

The excitement this division will bring in 2009 starts off on Feb. 7th, as Kotelnik clashes with Marcos Maidana. "El Chino" has done well so far, mauling down his opposition for a 25-0 (24) record. It's an aggression vs. technique encounter with Maidana possessing the power and Kotelnik the sturdy chin.

A good teaser of what will come.

No way does Judah give Hatton a run for his money. Ricky is to strong, and tough for the soft shell Judah. Judah is louder then a motor bike softer then a g****.

Whenever Pacman goes the weight class would be solid... Lastime Pacquiao is in 135 and that weight class is a freak. Now without pacman that weight is ****....
