    Andre ward looked VERY impessive

my major problem with him was the way he used to lunge when he threw the right. not tonight.

and i like how the 2004 olympians ward and dirrell can both switch fight VERY well. although i would like to see ward use his right jab when in the orthodox stance a little more. he usually just switches to the stance to land his left.

Ward looked really good, his defense seems to have tightened, he looked sharper than I have seen him, I would like to see him more active though.

yeah i hope ward picks it up i really think he will i think they are trying to get him a big fight i mean they did make that offer to allan green..

in terms of activity i think he hasnt been managed correctly.. not only does he not fight but he usually isnt televised.. his fight against rubin williams was on best damn fight night on a replay and that fight wasnt even on the scheduled time... im sure not many people got to see that fight. i was specifically LOOKING for that fight and didnt get to know when it was aired...

but in terms of the quality of his opposition.. i think hes definitely gotten some good rounds in. only one under .500 opponent and that was a late replacement. he has shown some huge improvements since he turned pro.

btw why doesnt anyone complain about andre dirrell.. didnt he come out of the same olympics? arent they both 17-0?

I give Ward all the credit but talk to me when he steps up. He has the tools, but will he have the heart. I say no way!

Yeah, Ward's management has been bad, he needs to get more fights, I think maybe Dirrell now holds a fringe belt and has perhaps faced the better opponent in Anthony Hanshaw.

...and his last opponent of course. Can't remember his name but he was undefeated and was considered a good prospect with abnormal power. He dominated him, but .....

Yeah, Oganov had good power but that was about it, he was pretty limited.
