Fully expect Andre Dirrel to be next if/when Dawson gets exposed - if Johnson didnt already do that to an extent.
so dawson was exposed against johnson and calzaghe wasn't against hopkins when everyone thinks he lost and looked like a damn fool. probably why his ratings are rubbish. no one wants to watch a slappy clown who gets gift decisions.

Being on the canvas for 2 seconds on a flash KD or stumbling round the ring noodle legged after eating straight right hands all night?

      Hmmm

        The Calzaghe haters are pathetic

Dawson has become very overrated on this forum...40 year old Glen "12 losses" Johnson beat him up and got robbed

Calzaghe is on another level, he beats Dawson for sure

Nope. What's are the most impressive names on Chad's resume? An old-age pensioner version of Tarver and an old Johnson, who, in my opinion, beat Chad and was robbed for the simple fact that the guys in suits can make more money out of Chad in the long run. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with his resume, it's actually pretty solid so far, plus he's young, but to suggest it's better than Joe's? That's horse ****. That's said out of hatred and jealousy. That's the truth.

Calzaghe hasn't got the best resume, but it's always been obvious to me his talent is far better than his resume suggests. It's the way in which he beat his opponents that makes the biggest impression on me. Joe is a smart mother****er with amazing ring generalship and can adapt and make adjustments at least as well as any fighter I ever saw since watching boxing since 1977. People miss a lot of the subtleties in Joe's work.

Whatever though, I'm fed up of arguing about Calzaghe. A vast amount of the hatred directed towards him is born of ignorance. People saw a couple of fights and think they have him sussed out.

Put it this way -- I value the opinion of someone like our very own Iceman John Scully (he's right here on BoxingScene) than 99% of the posters here. Ice rates Joe and acknowledges his skills as a fighter because he knows the game, having been far more involved in it on a deeper level than anyone else here. So why should I respect the blinkered opinion of a fool who posts things like "Joe's a pu$$y, he only fought bums", or "Joe is a fraud and nobody will remember him in 10 years time"? That's blatantly incorrect. I suggest those people look a little deeper at the overall picture, try to recognize the good things Calzaghe does in terms of technical boxing, and then shut their mouths until they can achieve even 1% of what he's done.

eating right hands all night? calzaghe? watch calzaghe do the chicken dance against hopkins in one of the middle rounds when he almost goes down again. priceless. he has to take like 3 steps back just to regain his balance. that was probably a calzaghe round on your bull**** scorecard.

                      Before or after the headbutt?

That was probably a scoring blow on your card.
