How can he not see Hatton as a risk. Pac's best weapon is his footspeed...what happens when your facing a fighter that can take that away?

that might be floyd's best weapon it's not pac's.

pac's best weapon is his handspeed and power coming from a southpaw stance.

i love how people rate Hatton's performance against paulie as an indicator on how he would do against manny

we should have manny vs paulie...and after paulie gets decapitated, i bet you floyd sr changes his 'ricky needs 2 more fights' to 'ricky doesnt need to fight manny'

Hatton is a HUGE risk...I'm 50/50 with this fight. Hatton's footspeed is just as quick as Pacman's...Hatton has underated foot speed because I haven't heard anyone mention it. To me Pac vs Mayweather is Duran vs SRL or Pernell Whitaker vs JCC...Roach, Arum and Pac shouldn't gamble on this one and should go straight for Mayweather.

It is a GREAT chance to try and add Mayweather to your resume...
Pac is confident and if he is able to accomplish this...in the end we will rank up NICELY

I disagree. I felt just like you that Hatton could be a real threat but after seeing the replay I have totally changed my mind. I bet anything that he feels he can beat Hatton and it will make the Floyd fight that much bigger. Plus it will get him adjusted to the 140 pound weight class. I think its a risk but its a comfortable risk. It makes sense and it will be like the perfect tuneup for a Floyd fight. He takes Hatton 1st

Hatton will probably be first, if he beats Hatton a Mayweather fight would be that much bigger and I'd give the edge to Pacquiao on footspeed, Hatton has slowed down, he's technically better now than he was with Graham but he's still not as fast as he used to be and gets caught while coming in, I'm pretty sure he would have been much more cautious had Malignaggi had more power, I think Pacquiao has the power to make Hatton respect him and Hatton is still open to Pacquiao's best punch, the left hand.

exactly right, pacquiao beats hatton and if by some miracle Mayweather fights Cotto or Margarito and beats them, then their matchup will be hyped like all hell and save boxing and make JoeC look like a bigger douche than he already is.
