    Has Oliver McCall Retired?

I don't see him in any of the major rankings despite fighting an elimination bout last year. He's still a dangerous fighter and is better than most of the heavyweights, even at his age. He'd probably give Klitschko a better fight than what Rahman will [If Rahman doesn't bring his absolute A game or land a bomb]. Not many fighters are pretty much guaranteed be knockout proof while at the same time being competitive.

wow, I hope his son has his chin. imagine a younger McCall without the drugs problems and other issues but with the punch and chin. and I agree that Oliver is still a threat, esp. to Wlad

are you serious? even in his prime he was a pretty horrible boxer. he just landed the lottery with lewis. who else has he beaten? he stopped maskeav but it was only maskeavs 5 pro fight and he lost to a shot old bruno. mcall had great stamina and a granite chin but little else. he lost or drew with dv williamson in one of his last fights. he needs to retire if he hasnt already. we dont need anymore rahmans around

mcall was never a big puncher he just caught lewis walking into a shot. hell,,he couldnt knock out an old shot bruno who was totally spent by the 8th round or an ancient holmes

McCall has never been blown away by anyone. Even in his defeats he's either lost narrowly or been competitive. He beat a Larry Holmes who beat Ray Mercer and gave Holyfield a tough fight 2 or 3 years before. Frank Bruno was holding on for dear life towards the end of their fight [Bruno gave Lennox Lewis a tough fight 2 years earlier]. He lost a narrow descision to Williamson, yes. But Williamson is a decent boxer, he just doesn't have a very good chin.

I'm by no means saying he'd beat Klitschko, but he'd at least make him work hard to earn a win, while at the same time being dangerous every second of the fight.

he does have a great chin and stamina but he has a lousy jab and no snap in his punches. he gives guys rough fights soley on his strength and durability. anyway,,holmes was an old man and bruno was dead exhausted which is why he was holding. anyway,,yes he was tough as nails.
I disagree with him being dangerous every second with wlad. he's too slow and wlad would see everything coming. mcall isnt a big knockout puncher. his only chance would be if wlad gassed himself trying to knock mcall out which he doesnt do these days. I actually think even rahman hits harder than mcall. too bad he never had mcalls chin or stamina

It looks Like He's Going to Continue

                  He's still dangerous.

He sure can take a beating. Lennox was unloading on his ass in that very strange rematch and he wouldn't fight back or go down.....lol

He'd defintely give the Klits a good workout if nothing else at this point......
