The fight Thursday was #1 (USS) vs. #2 (TA) on their rankings, and so by their criteria is eligible (but not mandatory, they make curious editorial decisions sometimes) for the magazine title.

I believe they said it was for the ring belt. Everything I saw leading up to the fight said that.

Then he should fight Adamek for the #1 ring magazine ranking.

Adamek-Jones fight would be awesome, then he can deserve it.
He's only fought 5 times at cruiser though so that's why I want it.
And Jones unlike Adamek, got robbed against Cunningham years ago.

They should have that fight in Poland.

They recognized it, but somehow versus didn't. I don't know why they didn't.
