see, theres your problem right there. You made that statement as if Hatton easily beat all of those you named when in fact, Collazo gave Hatton a HELL of a fight, Castillo is WAY WAY WAY past his prime as proven by his last fight when he lost to whats his face. He also struggled and got hurt BADLY by Lascano. The Maliganggi and Tszyu wins were legit and great wins though.

Hatton's success depends on his inside fighting right? When thinkin about how Pacquiao fights, bobbin and weaving, in and out, not hangin on the ropes, it will be VERY difficult for Hatton to be able to put in the work. We may think that Hatton will be much stronger than Pac, but Pac has surprised us with the amount of power and strength he has carried with him up to these classes.

Im not gonna lie, I've always been one to think Hatton has been overrated because he hadn't preformed as he did in the Tszyu fight SINCE that fight. I still think he gets more praise than he should, but he DID shut me up with the Malignaggi win. I was sure Paulie would outbox him, but I think Paulie was just stunned by Hatton's power and became trigger shy. I commend Hatton for an awesome performance and the fact that he considers himself "The Machester Mexican". Thats cool as ****.

But I just don't think Hatton has the ring smarts to isolate Pac's speed and lateral movement. What I do think though is that this will be a GREAT fight.

Yeah but you make it sound like Collazo is a bum. He's supposed to give Hatton hell at WW and he would give Pac hell too. People act like if your good then your not supposed to have a tough fight. I never understood why people act like the Collazo win isnt that special since Collazo gave him hell. So! Collazo's a darn good fighter. Castillo was past his prime and never looked any good above 135 where he had the size advantage but I dont think he was any different then Oscar in that Pac fight. I agree that Hatton hasnt always looked great but he did in and before the Tszyu fight and with Sr., he also looked good in his last fight so Im just really going by that in thinking that he will be near his best for the Pac fight.

Hatton is an inside fighter but I do think his boxing skills are underrated. Infact, he's not totally different from Pac. Hatton "use to" use that side to side head movement also. He's not as great with it anymore but he can still pull it out. Pac hasnt surprised me with his strength as Ive always said that he was much bigger & stronger then people think. Dude is big and has killed himself to make weight. His legs are bigger then most 154 pounders and he has the best body in all of boxing and its not even close. Im not saying that Hatton will win but I just think people are sleeping on him. Again though, I want Pac to win and I hope he wins by a spectacular KO to set up the real dream fight
